Special update: Tribute to AKB0048
So, who would have thought at the beginning of the season that this series would turn out to be THAT good?
Hell, yes it's been totally underrated. And it has many haters. Wait, why? The point is, there is no particular reason for it - haters gonna hate.
And this is really unfair. We actually have a hidden gem here, a series that shines with some brilliant ideas, stunning production values (DAT background images, DAT light effects, DAT animation and DAT soundtrack = unmatched in anime industry ever before) and its metaphors on the real entertainment industry. The 'ridiculous' setting this series comes with has true meaning. If you don?t take it literal and inform yourself about what troubles the pop group AKB48 had to face in their first years, you will see how it all fits together perfectly. Anyway, handshake events? You think that was a stupid idea? Then tell this the manager of AKB48 - these happenings did take place in REAL LIFE. (Surprised? Yes I was. o_O)
Actually, the middle part was rather weak. They filled some time with fanservice and pseudo-plot, yet every episode was packed with this special charm, and also every episode did contribute a lot to building up plot, showing us this huge cast and let us watch characters develop.
All of this together was just so extremely awesome, that it?s basically impossible to explain it in a single blog post. Therefore, I pulled through a bunch of all-nighters in order to make the ultimate tribute to AKB0048: A remix of the ending theme "Yume wa Nando mo Umarekawaru", which I already transcribed. So I thought, as I recently acquired the programs and knowledge how to do this, why not make the ultimate super love tribute to my fav anime of this year.
But there is much more to it than just a remix: I wanted to give it the best result possible, so I am very glad that little-chip agreed to add her beautiful voice to my remix *.* thanks :)
Oh, yeah. Then I realized: I forgot to make a video track. Dammit. Soooo - I also made a video based on the incredible backround art and fanarts, while trying to tell the background story of AKB0048 ;3
Now, be ready for the total eye- and eargasm! :DD

Sakamichi no Apollon OP transcription (Playball/Sakamichi no Melody by YUKI)
Man,
time surely passes... the amazing spring season is almost over, only
AKB0048 is not completed yet. And from even a spring season this good,
Sakamichi no Apollon was totally outstanding as it turned out to be a
great slice of life & music combination, and unlike K-ON! it's
REALLY grown-up, despite the age of the actors.
And it's more than that. It's combining jazz (!) with an almost perfect animation of the instruments and sets it up with great, complex characters, without being too awkward for a love story. Simply awesome. Please more of this :3
The transcription itself is pretty difficult, yet totally playable. But even though I am working on it, my piano skills still pretty much suck, so I let Synthesia do the job for me this time. :P Anyway, it's truly a great song, with a stunningly great modulation from Fmaj to minor and back :o

Seriously, screw this season. I mean, just look at the bad premise: 90% of all the shows are either haremshit or fanservice -.-'
I only have two hopes right now: There is Sword Art online and Natsuyuki Rendevouz, both have a great setting and made a very good impression in their first episodes. Please don't screw up, my last hopes ;_;
EDIT: HOLY CRAP! AKB0048 ep 11 was fucking AWESOME! I get the feeling this is gonna have an ABSOLUTELY TOTAL EPIC ENDING. This episode did everything right. Amazing backgrounds, plot progression, character development, fantastic soundtrack & insert music and well planned creation of suspense. If this continues, then I ... might actually cry out of joy.

BACK FROM THE DEAD - and for real this time.
Wow, it surely has been a incredible LONG time I haven't been into transcribing stuff, but that was mainly due to my final exams at school. Yep, that's right - I graduated, and that means a LOT more time then I had the last few months.
To put it simple: There will be regular updates from now on, and I will try to transcribe requests again - but I will definetly focus on the upcoming summer season, so there will be limited place for any request from older series or games. Nevertheless, if the songs really good, it has still good chances (and you should know my taste if you're looking around my site).
Oh, and if you're wondering what I did in the long no-update time, I really wasn't that lazy. I am planning to publish these transcrptions in the upcoming posts.
And... best thing is, over the last weeks I happened to work on some transcriptions with Animenz, and this was truly a great experience, 'cause one cannot simply comprehend how much more amazing and successful it is to have two minds put their knowledge into one single piece. ^.~
Still, I am not studying music, neither plan to, nor am I practising much, so my playing skill is not really more better than average level. Therefore I am really grateful to Animenz for playing some of my transcriptions :3
Yeah, I guess that's about it, so I am going to continue this announcement instantly with a new transcription.
Yume wa Nando mo Umarekawaru - AKB0048 ED
Oh, forgive me AKB, you had me facepalmed as you were announced, I thought of you as the crap of the season, but with help of some kind of wicked magic, I happened to watch the first 3 episodes... And it was so fucking good, really, one of the best first three episodes ever. This amazing setting (no idols), this totally flashy and exaggarated j-pop crazy shit, I mean, who even dares to draw hearts into eyes, wtf.
I might be totally fanboyish now, but really, this show has a good potential. I mean - the script writer is known for her brilliant ideas, though slow in building up suspense and story. Well, whatever - see for yourself, I ought to write more about music anyway =)

Finally, it's time for a new update!
It seems I was a bit lazy over the last months, but I just didn't like most of the newer OPs/EDs so much that I thought transcribing them would be worth. But since I had some free time I finally came to watch The World God Only Knows I + II (actually, I marathoned the first season in one night ^^') and I pretty much liked it, especially the soundtrack was brilliant, and as the ending hasn't been transcribed yet, I gave it a shot, so here's the result:

This time, I wanted to experiment a little, so I arranged it for piano and voice. You can expect more updates from now on, too ^.^

Hello again!
It really has been a long time since the last update... more than 3 months... crazy. o.0 Well at least I am sure this update won't disappoint you, because it is the biggest one I ever made. Furthermore, I will be able to accept requests again, although I will be absent for some weeks in my summer holidays (Italy here I come ;)) And... beside my 3 new transcriptions , I have experimented a little and did some kind of remixes (thanks to FLStudio). Last but not least, as mentioned some time ago, I tried to sample some midis and now I finally got some nice results (Future Gazer - Steinway) so here check it out, all of my new downloads!

Be sure to give the sheet a good interpretation, since piano only songs are very difficult to compress into measures, and that didn't work out perfectly this time. It is very enjoyable, as it is quite easy to play.

Winter
has come; no doubt, it's cold outside and here I am back with another
transcription. As I was listening to my music libary, I started to ask
myself: Why hasn't anyone transcribed anything from the Railgun-OSTs
yet? Well, so I decided to transcribe it so here you are:
